Wee Tigers at Meadowview Elementary School was awarded $1.882.85 for Zen Zone and individualized learning centers.

Ninja Warroir​​
​
Elementary Physcial Education Department was awarded $5,000 for elementary physical education ninja warrior equipment, as outlined in your grant request.
​
Boeckman Middle School was awarded $5,999.58 for bike trainers and helmets to be used for Riding for Focus. The BMS Riding for Focus bike program is innovative in that it is providing a unique opportunity for students to increase their academic, health, and social success in and out of school.
Break Bands​​
Akin Road and Farmington Elementary Schools have been awarded $471 for Break Bands for students to wear at school to indicate to adults when they are in need of a break. The red side of the band will say "I need a break" and the green side will say "I am doing great".

BMS musical theater class was awarded $845 for theater make-up and character paints. This will teach the students how to create theatrical effects and create characters with makeup and face paint.
Grants 2018
​
Boeclman Middle School Garden Club was granted $1,063 for some bird and butterfly attracting flowers, bushes, and houses added to school gardens.

Farmington Elementary School was also awarded $2,400 to purchase 25 packs of Bloxels (3rd-5th) and 15 packs of Puzzlets (K-2nd) that will use in ITL and Tech classrooms and then be available to all classrooms. Products combine hands-on play, logical thinking, and technology. Also supports learning code.

Farmington High School was awarded $2,300 to provide for the funding of a “MakerSpace.” At FHS the funds will go towards Items are in Media Center, so students have access to support, research and community. Many materials can be used to support a range of courses or activities.

Riverview Elementary School was awarded $2,100 to provide for the funding of a “MakerSpace.” A MakerSpace is an initiative that has spread across the United States and other countries as a do it yourself space where students can come together to share ideas, solutions, and expertise using a creativity and innovative processes. At RES the funds will go towards Singer Sewing Machine, CO2 Laser Engraver, 5 Discovery Circuit Kits.
"One Book One Farmington"​​
This project will allow for secondary students throughout the District to have access to a common text that can be read over the summer. District literacy teachers will then have the chance to weave this text into their classroom discussion as students return from summer break; in addition teachers in other disciplines will have the chance to weave the story lines into their lessons. This will be a great way to build community throughout the secondary student population and get these students excited for the coming school year. This District wide project was awarded $1,000
Grants 2017

Ukuleles and equipment to be used by music students in the 4th and 5th grades at both Farmington Elementary and Meadowview Elementary Schools for $2653.85.

Akin Road Elementary was awarded $1079.40 for an array of wobble chairs, lap desks, and ball chairs to be used by Akin Road Elementary School 2nd graders,

LabQuest starter packages to be used at both Boeckman and Dodge Middle Schools to help students capture data in their science experiments for $6278.69.
Irrigation System ​​
Early education was granted $1200. Irrigation systems for outdoor gardens at Riverview and Meadowview Elementary Schools to expand outdoor learning opportunities for Wee Tigers and Stepping Stones students at both sites as part of the Early Childhood programs.
Gardening equipment to benefit the newly formed Garden Group to help students learn the basics of gardening and keeping things growing. The plan is to provide the produce to the students at Boeckman Middle School $1000 ($500 from FAEF and $500 from an outside organization)

Woodchips, benches, and other outdoor furniture to create Outdoor Learning Areas at Boeckman Middle School for $600.
Grants 2016

Farmington Elementary School was awarded $829 for the creation of a butterfly garden on the FES grounds. Students will have the chance to plant and care for the garden in the spring and fall. The students will be able to further their education in science, horticulture, art, and GEL programming. It is the hope of FES staff that this will spark an interest in butterflies and gardening in the students and will help in the plight of the monarch butterfly.

Jamstik​​
​
Boeckman Middle School was also awarded $3,334.89 to purchase several Jamstik’s. This is a smart guitar that is Bluetooth enabled that will interact with the student’s iPads. Because the Jamstik has real guitar frets and strings, what the students learn using these smart guitars in class will transfer directly to an acoustic guitar. In addition to the Jamstiks, the app “4Chords” was purchased to help the students learn songs on the Jamstik and on a guitar.

Grants 2015

Meadowview Elementary School was awarded $3000 for a 3D printer. This printer is used in the new IDEAS specialist class. This class focuses on the STEM topics of science, technology, engineering, and math. Students are able to design and create their own materials to further their education in the STEM fields.
Outdoor Learning Space
​
Boeckman Middle School was awarded $400 for the creation of an outdoor learning space. Through the use of pails, clipboards, and other materials, teachers at BMS are able to create flexible, mobile, learning spaces and integrate outdoor lessons into their curriculum.

Akin Road was awarded $1100 for the purchase of social thinking materials. These books and other materials teach the whole student body important social skills. These materials offer a wide range of strategies that address a students strengths and weaknesses in processing social information.
Grants 2014
​​
Farmington High School Biology teacher Zach Howard was awarded $2,500 for the purchase of several canoes, paddles, and life jackets to be used in creating an outdoor learning space at FHS. This project allows students, along with countless others to supplement their classroom lessons with experiences in the field.
Media Center E-books
​​
Media Specialists from across District 192 applied jointly for $1,800 to expand the current collections of electronic books for each school. By continuing to build the book libraries, Media Centers will further be able to promote digital equity and reading enjoyment across the District. The Foundation was also pleased to see colleagues District-wide apply for a grant.

Farmington High School Media teacher Mark Toutge was awarded $750 to aid in the creation of a new live broadcasting program at FHS. This new program allows students to reach the community through the live broadcast of events such as sporting events, concerts, along with various other District and community events.
Manipulative Learning Materials​​
Riverview Elementary teacher Chris Caduff was awarded $340 to aid in the development of an Engineering specialist position at RVES. Specifically the grant went towards the purchase of hands on manipulatives to aid in the teaching of math, science, and engineering for kindergarten through fifth grade students.
